Jodie E. Braner, RHU

As an advisor with The Benefit Company, Jodie is known for her expertise in working with mid-market employers consulting on employee benefit programs of self-funding and risk pool management. Responsible for new business development and management of sold clients, Jodie is skillful in needs analysis to help her clients enhance their culture while delivering innovation within company budget goals. She delivers operational excellence as a trusted resource.

Jodie is a School of Journalism and Mass Communication graduate from the University of Georgia. She began her career in insurance on the carrier side with Prudential and Humana. She then moved to employee benefits consulting serving as Senior Consultant with Pritchard & Jerden, OneDigital, and Hays Companies. Jodie has joined The Benefit Company after four years with Willis Towers Watson and brings extensive knowledge of the local, national and international marketplace.

Jodie holds the Georgia Counselor’s license as well as the Georgia Accident & Sickness license. She is certified in Self-Funding through the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU) and is a Registered Health Underwriter (RHU).

Jodie grew up in Dunwoody, Georgia and currently resides in East Cobb Marietta with her husband, Jim, and their two children. Jodie is active in serving her community and serves on the Technology Association of Georgia Digital Health Board of Directors, Georgia Association of Health Underwriters Board of Directors, and is the past event chairman for SHRM-ATLANTA. Jodie has been recognized for her dedication and industry involvement with numerous awards throughout the past years.
